Senior Platform Engineer

Koxa is seeking a capable and collaborative engineer to evolve, extend, and refine our platform services, telemetry, and dev ops.
Your Skillset & Approach
You are a senior software engineer with 5+ years experience. You have your favorite languages and frameworks, but you’re flexible enough to choose your tools to fit the problem. You are self-motivated and love to deliver. You work iteratively and seek feedback from peers, customers and stakeholders. You can lead other engineers and you’re looking forward to getting in up to your elbows. Previous experience in API design, data modeling, and/or financial technology is a plus.
You’re a builder who will:

Extend the functionality and performance of Koxa’s cloud-native software applications using modern design patterns and leveraging open-source libraries or commercially available services

Establish distributed data and service architecture, and optimize migrations and event-based analysis

Break apart and decouple complicated business logic into elegant reusable components

Design services and interfaces used both internally and by external developers

Write your own tests to ensure your code delivers functionality, usability and performance

You will be responsible for engineering of core platform functionality and maturing our internal dev ops. Koxa’s platform provides best-in-class identity and access management, and user-centric APIs and entitlements for banking data and payments.
