Partnerships Engineer

Koxa is seeking a capable and collaborative developer to expand our developer ecosystem and build app connections to Koxa’s open APIs.
Your Skillset & Approach
You are a motivated software engineer looking to thrive in a mostly-remote startup environment. You seek out feedback on your code and approach. You enjoy working on a small team and want to help deliver mission-critical components such as client-side code libraries, plug-ins/apps, and enterprise UI workflows (in a variety of languages and app-frameworks).

Eager to massively improve the user experience of business accounting and finance teams

Able to translate complicated integration problems into functional requirements and actionable solutions

Comfortable with Node.js or other object-oriented languages

Experience working with RESTful APIs, event-driven workflows, and microservices

Capable and willing to support external development partners

Excited to build integrations using the latest security and compliance standards in financial services

The Role

You will own the integration lifecycle to establish and optimize our catalog of pre-connected apps and work across the engineering team to prioritize platform enhancements that benefit end users. As a member of Koxa's engineering team, you will solve complex integration challenges so Koxa can ensure a highly available and performant experience across a growing range of business applications.

You will be responsible for crafting and maintaining developer documentation used by both Koxa and partner engineers.

Salary range: $90k – $120k

Had previous career was in or adjacent to our end users — corporate accounting, finance, banking, vendor management/procurement, etc — so you have shared domain knowledge

Have career experience in IT (user support and/or business application support) or in a support engineering role so you can identify and solve problems in software design

Honed your technical chops at a bootcamp, completed several projects or an apprenticeship
